Divemaster Intern 1st Blog – Tenerife Diving

My name is Harrison, I started my internship with paradise divers a little over two weeks ago now. I completed my open water course with paradise divers back in April and have returned to become a divemaster.

I got back into the swing of things fairly quickly and begun my advanced open water course within a couple of days, doing a deep dive, peak performance buoyancy, navigation, wreck dive and a night dive (I have to say the night dive was definitely my favourite). Now I’m advanced open water I can begin the Rescue course which I’ve been told is tough but I like a challenge.

I have been watching and helping in Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) courses as much as possible giving assistance where necessary. And with a little assistance from Dan I even led a cave dive a couple of days ago, and for only being here for two weeks I was quite proud of myself.

Currently I have a total of 27 dives, each one helping me with becoming more familiar with the dive sites.
